Your local animal home. We are a separate charity operating under RSPCA rules, our work is invaluable to the lives of the many animals that have suffered from cruelty or neglect. We are responsible for raising our operating funds locally.
We are an independently funded animal re-homing centre that depends on generous donations and fund-raising activities. We receive no state or lottery aid. It costs over £5,000 per week to finance our animal home. The money we raise is used to support animal welfare and re-homing within our district and animal home.
On average, over 500 animals are re-homed from this centre each year.
With the aid of the national society’s local inspectors, the branch services a wide area including Ashby, Measham, Netherseal, Packington, Swadlincote, Melbourne, Ticknall, Winshill, Uttoxeter, Stapenhill, Tamworth, Lichfield, Rugeley and all the villages in between!
